Description
This vintage Rosenthal porcelain coffee trio reflects the aesthetics of the 1950s or 1960s and belongs to the well-known “Form 2000” design line. Its three matching pieces are a graceful goblet-shaped cup, a saucer and a larger dessert plate. The fine white porcelain carries a restrained modern decoration: a gold band around the upper rims, with a rhythmic pattern of grey geometric strokes beneath it. Rosenthal is known for precise craftsmanship, and Raymond Loewy’s “Form 2000” shape became a mid-century modern design classic that pairs easily with other tableware.
All three pieces are in impeccable vintage condition. The glaze remains glossy, the porcelain has no cracks or chips, and the gilding is even and unworn. This trio would make an elegant addition to a table setting or a thoughtful gift.
Cup capacity: approximately 120 ml.
