Description
This two-handled soup cup and saucer by Royal Copenhagen is a refined example of Danish design dating from 1953–1956. The set belongs to the classic “Blomsterhorn” or “Flower Horn” series, characterised by softly cream-coloured porcelain and a delicate hand-painted cornucopia motif with colourful wildflowers. A cobalt-blue line along the upper rim of the cup and saucer completes the traditional Scandinavian look. Founded in 1775, Royal Copenhagen is renowned for its quality and history. With its two graceful handles, the cup is suitable for serving soup, broth and other hot or cold dishes. Both pieces remain in excellent vintage condition, with glossy glaze and lively colours. They would make an elegant addition to a tableware collection or a distinctive gift.
