Goods
Goods offered by RARITUS may be antique, vintage, used, collectible, or art and design objects.
Due to their age, such objects may show natural signs of use and ageing, including patina, minor surface marks, changes in material colour, glaze irregularities, older restorations, or other age-related characteristics.
Whenever possible, material information about an object's condition is stated in the product description and shown in the photographs.
Before ordering, buyers are advised to review all photographs, the description, dimensions and condition information carefully.
Information about authorship, maker and period
RARITUS aims to provide the most accurate possible information about the maker, author, country of origin, period, model and other object details.
Where information has not been fully confirmed, it may be presented as an attribution, probable origin or approximate period.
Unconfirmed information is not presented as an indisputable fact.
Prices
All prices on the website are stated in euros.
Where applicable, taxes are included in accordance with the tax regime applicable to the seller.
If delivery is not included in the price of the goods, its cost is shown during checkout before the purchase is finally confirmed.
Placing an order
The sales contract is deemed concluded when the buyer:
- selects an item;
- provides the information required for the order;
- selects a delivery and payment method;
- confirms the order and the obligation to pay.
The final order button clearly indicates that clicking it creates a payment obligation.
Payment
Goods are paid for using the payment methods shown on the website.
An order may be processed only after payment has been received, unless explicitly stated otherwise.
Availability
Most RARITUS objects are one of a kind.
If, due to a technical error, the same unique item is sold to more than one buyer, priority is given to the earliest properly paid order and the other buyer receives a full refund.
Order cancellation
The buyer may request cancellation while the order has not yet been dispatched.
If the item has already been dispatched, the distance-contract withdrawal and return procedure applies.
