Description
This vintage Rosenthal porcelain coffee or tea trio is an example of 1970s decorative art from the renowned German manufactory’s “Lotus Goldblatt” series. Designed by Danish artist Bjørn Wiinblad (1918–2006), the collection brings together Scandinavian flair and German craftsmanship. The three pieces are a goblet-shaped cup with a graceful handle, a classic white saucer and a larger dessert plate. They are decorated with raised, gently textured lotus-petal motifs in hand-applied gold. The rich gilding contrasts with the fine white porcelain, giving the set a luminous retro elegance.
All three pieces are in impeccable vintage condition. The glossy glaze shows no cracks or signs of wear, and the distinctive gold lotus decoration remains bright, even and intact. This trio would make an elegant focal point in a tableware collection and for everyday table settings.
Cup capacity: approximately 150 ml.
